“Tell him to kick off your shoes and relax your feet, party on down to the Xscape beat.
Just kick it. Just kick it, just kick it. Every man wants a woman, that can cook him up a good meal. A woman he can treat like his homie, and take her out on the Ave. and just chill.”- Exscape
Hey Boo Hey! Today I’m heading into week 2 of my Valentine Style series, and boy am I enjoying this! So far we have covered girls night out and a fancy dinner date, but what about a casual look? When most people think of Valentine’s Day they think of sexy dresses or curve hugging skirts, but what about when you and Bae want to keep it simple and have a more laid back date night. Or maybe you are dating someone new and since things aren’t that serious yet you want to keep it cool and casual. Well search no more because today’s look is the one you’ve been waiting for, plus I got to channel Queen Bey herself so you know its about to be LIT!
Now yall know I couldn’t have a style series and not include a matching set! When I saw this set on Posh Shoppe’s site I immediately knew it would be perfect for the holiday. Nothing says Valentine’s Day like red and pink, right? This sporty track set is so cute and comfortable I didn’t want to take it off. It has a wrap top with a self tie sash and comfy elastic waist bottoms This set is so easy to wear it makes for a chic, effortless look that can be worn anywhere. The top blends seamlessly with the leggings, and both pieces have a hot pink side stripe that run down the sleeves and legs. As with all matching sets you have the option to wear the pieces together, or style them separately for infinite style possibilities. Whenever I’m not sure what color shoes to wear I grab these clear, double strap heels. They are not the most comfortable, but they definitely come in handy. I added a gold chain necklace and this casual look was complete. What are your thoughts on today’s look? Sound off below and let me know!
