Put on your red dress and slip on your high heels, And some of that sweet perfume, it sure smells good on you. Slide on your lipstick, and let all your hair down ‘Cause baby, when you get through I’m gonna show off you – Johnny Gill
Hey Boo Hey! I am normally not one to pat myself on the back, but BAY-BEE “pat pat”! Today’s look is a complete showstopper! The color, the style, everything about it is on point. As in love as I am with this dress, I was torn about posting it today. Crazy, I know, but I have a good reason why. I felt like this dress should be the last look of my style series. It looks so good that I felt like it should be the grand finale. However, I wanted to give you Babes an opportunity to order it and get it in time for Valentine’s Day because you need it! No need to thank me, just do yourself a favor and order this dress! Don’t think about it. Don’t second guess it. Go to the website, hit add to cart, and complete purchase. Like what you’ve seen so far? Well keep reading because I have all the deets on this look!
When I made the decision to do this style series I knew I wanted to include something red. Whether it be a dress or a jumpsuit, I knew I had to have at least one traditional red piece. One day while scrolling through IG this beauty popped up on my TL and I said “THAT’S IT!”. I immediately contacted the boutique, which just so happens to be one of my favorites and is located in my hometown, to let the owner know I needed this dress! Once I got it and tried it on, I didn’t want to take it off. I know I danced around the house in this beauty for a good 30-45 minutes. Its what I would like to call a triple, double in the ruffle department. It has a double layer of ruffles at the wrist, the waist, and the hem! PER-FEC-TION! If you are anything like me and adore ruffles I shouldn’t even have to tell you anything else about this dress to sell you on it, but keep reading because there is more! Its made of scuba material which allows it to offer a good amount of stretch. I know some of you Babes like to show off a little skin and be sexy on Valentine’s Day, but if you are going to really nice restaurant or a show it is sometimes best to leave more to the imagination and cover up a little. This dress is perfect for that. Its sexy , but in a more classy, gown woman type of way. It does however have a v-neckline that will allow you to how off the “girls” a little. I wore this beauty with a pair of leopard pumps and a leopard clutch. I also accessorized with some black and gold accessories to finish off the look. Would you wear this look out for Valentine’s Day? Comment below and let me know!
